What is the helpline number?

When can I call for help?

When it is needed; the Peer Assistance Helpline is available 24/7.
Our advisors are working CRNAs, and may not be immediately available. Leave a confidential message and your call will be returned as soon as possible.

IMPORTANT: In a crisis situation with potential immediate risk for harm to self or others - call 911 or the AFSP suicide hotline, 800-273-TALK

Once the situation is safe, see the next question "Where do I start?" for additional assistance.

In addition, with the limited exception of anonymous demographic data, which is maintained for reporting purposes only, all information provided by a person contacting the helpline will be kept confidential to the extent required by applicable laws. However, please note that all AANA staff and volunteers are required to comply fully with all applicable state laws regarding mandated reporting.
