Review of Respiratory Physiology, Pathophysiology, and Related Pharmacological Considerations of Anesthesia Care I & II

Objectives of Session:

  • Discuss airway anatomy & respiratory physiology concepts relevant to anesthesia
  • Discuss pathophysiological concepts in respiratory physiology relevant to anesthesia practice
  • Discuss the following advanced pulmonary pathophysiology and list the etiology and risk factors, clinical manifestations, pathological changes, and diagnostic results for: Bronchitis, Pulmonary emphysema, Asthma, Bronchiectasis, Pulmonary infections, Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS)

Twenty poster sessions will be presented Saturday, 7:00 a.m.-Sunday, 10:00 a.m. for 2 CE credits.
